Doctor 360 was created by Edgecumbe psychologists as a feedback tool for medical appraisal and revalidation. The colleague and patient feedback questionnaires are now used widely by NHS and private organisations across the UK, with a higher statistical reliability than those provided by the GMC. Recently updated in line with GMC changes to Good Medical Practice guidelines, our standard questionnaires are available alongside speciality and role-specific solutions for medical professionals. Implementation process
Our simple five-stage process to implementing a 360 feedback tool that aligns with your organisational goals:
- Discover: we work with key stakeholders to understand your organisation, its key performance drivers and your requirements for a feedback tool, to develop a definitive scope of work, success criteria and service level agreement.
- Design: based on what we’ve understood about your organisation and requirements, we create a draft of the requested 360 feedback tool. This may mean making minor edits to our core Primary Colours° behavioural items, using only the task headings from our Primary Colours° model and developing develop behavioural items that fit with your organisation’s language and context, or creating a feedback tool that is mapped completely to your organisation’s competency framework. - Set up and validate: once your 360 feedback tool is designed, we configure our platform with your unique settings, including tailored communications, rater categories and any specific user support materials. We will then test and invite you to test the set up. If using our tailored or bespoke 360 feedback solutions, we will work with you to ensure a sufficient number of participants use and offer feedback on the tool in order for us to review, refine, validate and add benchmarking data to your solution.
- Train: whether using our bureau service and expert facilitators or your own inhouse resources to administrate and feed back on reports, we ensure that everyone is equipped with the insights needed to make your 360 feedback process run as seamlessly as possible.
- Deliver: our assessment tools are delivered via our flexible and intuitive online platform, the Edgecumbe Assessments Hub. Whether managing the process yourself or using our full bureau service, we provide on-hand support to ensure your 360 feedback reports are comprehensive and received on time. We strongly recommend that the feedback is facilitated once received, helping participants to move beyond initial reactions and focus on actionable steps to develop.
