This one-day course equips you to use the full assessment toolkit from HUCAMA, providing the key information you need to support your people assessment and development processes.

About the course

HUCAMA Factors provides a comprehensive assessment solution for the prediction and development of performance in the workplace. Developed by Dr Rainer Kurz (who formerly created leading assessments at SHL, Saville Consulting and Cubiks), this tool set builds on the last 40 years of research on personality and behavioural prediction, including the academically leading Big 5 and the Great 8 Competencies.

HUCAMA Factors provides integrated and scalable assessment solutions for entry-level (for general use and volume campaigns), mid-level (for professional roles) and top-level (for managerial and leadership roles) applications across the employee life cycle. The toolkit covers:

  • Personality Factors – assessments that measure dispositional traits covering between 16 to 48 facets of personality.
  • Ability Factors – bias-free assessments that measure general reasoning ability and specific components.
  • Competency Factors – assessments that measure performance at work which are aligned to the personality facets so you can compare potential with performance.

For organisations wanting to train a group of individuals, we recommend that this course is conducted in-house, but it can also be run from our office in Bristol, or virtually.

In order to attend this course, you should have previous qualifications in psychometrics and skills in giving feedback and supporting development activities. If this is not the case, we recommend attending our one-day Primary Colours® in Practice (using HUCAMA Personality Factors) in advance.

HUCAMA Factors Accreditation

An intensive and interactive one-day workshop designed to enable practitioners to use the HUCAMA Factors suite of assessments encompassing: Personality Factors, Ability Factors and Competency Factors.

Delegates learn through tutorials, group exercises, case studies and practical feedback sessions, how to apply the range of HUCAMA assessments with confidence.

Upon completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

  • Apply and interpret the Ability Factors assessment to understand cognitive reasoning abilities
  • Use the Personality Factors questionnaires for prediction of workplace performance in selection and development contexts
  • Apply expert in-depth interpretation to provide a richer insight into the participant’s profile and provide high-quality feedback
  • Use Competency Factors to assess performance at work and make comparisons to the Personality Factors profile

This day can be taken on its own or in conjunction with the Primary Colours in Practice (using HUCAMA Personality Factors) training day to equip delegates to use the Primary Colours® Leadership Assessment Toolkit.
